The Zelda saga continues to inspire fans! The latest games are about to get a good polish on Nintendo's new console, the Switch 2. While some will be entitled to a special edition, others will benefit from a minor optimization patch. But the big news surrounding the license is above all the arrival of a brand new game which already comes with essential collector's items for fans.
New Zelda collectors pre-order
The Nintendo Direct dedicated to The highly anticipated Switch 2 surprised everyone with the announcement of Hyrule Warriors: The Sealed Chronicles. This new installment of a secondary Zelda license is presented as a prequel to Tears of the Kingdom. In this sense, it will recount the events that happened just after Breath of the Wild, focusing in particular on the famous princess.
For this occasion, Nintendo unveiled new amiibo. They feature the image of the flagship companions of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, each coming from one of the emblematic peoples of the game. Thus, these figurines can be used in the game to obtain bonuses. For example, the Wolf Link amiibo offered meat in Breath of the Wild. The details here are not yet known, but it will always be an asset in play! Pre-orders are already open for delivery on June 5, 2025, the release date of the Switch 2.
Also, it's not yet confirmed, but the coincidence of the announcement with the new Hyrule Warriors suggests that the Babil, Riju, Sidon, and Yunobo amiibo will also offer you very specific in-game bonuses. We also hope to see the four characters fighting alongside us.
Also note that this isn't the only surprise in terms of Zelda amiibo! A figurine of the Mineru Golem has been announced, but for a later date to be specified. The Tears of the Kingdom aura is not about to fade away. Fans will undoubtedly hope for other models in the future. Why not a Soneau, since the people are particularly highlighted for the new game?
