Samsung S25 Edge: what we know about its output, its colors and its configuration

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is approaching, and new leaks regarding the launch date, storage, and color options are emerging. According to information from the Dutch website Nieuwe Mobiel, the ultra-thin smartphone will arrive in Europe on April 15, 2025. This date confirms previous rumors that pointed to a launch sometime in April. However, we don't yet know if the Galaxy S25 Edge will be immediately available for purchase on that day or if it's just the date of the presentation and opening of pre-orders.

Furthermore, there is still some doubt about the true release date of the ultra-thin smartphone from the South Korean brand. Samsung could ultimately push back the launch to May, or even June 2025, according to ETNews. Unlike Google's difficulties with the Pixel 9a, the Galaxy S25 Edge is not experiencing any last-minute problems and Samsung would simply like to adjust its schedule. Furthermore, the launch would not take place through a large conference but via a simple online event.

The launch date is still under debate, the configurations and colors are becoming clearer

In the meantime, we learn that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in two internal storage capacities: 256 and 512 GB, like the Galaxy S25+. The smartphone would add 12 GB of RAM and offer a choice of three color options. Here are the expected variants, accompanied by their model references:

Color/Storage 256 GB 512 GB
Silver SM-S937BZSD SM-S937BZSG
Black SM-S937BZKD SM-S937BZKG
Blue SM-S937BLBD SM-S937BLBG

It is interesting to note that these three colors (Silver, Black, Blue) had already been mentioned by the site Winfuture, adding credibility to this information. The site had shared official renderings of the three "Titanium" colors, a name that suggests the chassis will be made of titanium.

Under the hood, the presence of 12 GB of RAM will allow the Galaxy S25 Edge to join the rest of the S25 range. This capacity should notably allow it to efficiently run the many artificial intelligence-based features (Galaxy AI) that Samsung integrates into its devices. Remember that this smartphone should integrate a Snapdragon 8 Elite and a dual photo sensor on the back.

To accompany the release of the S25 Edge, Samsung plans to market dedicated accessories from day one. Two of them have already been identified:

  • Grey Silicone Case (Reference: EF-PS937CJ)
  • Blue Faux Leather Kindsuit Case (Reference: EF-VS937PL)

These types of cases are classics for Samsung, having already been offered for other models in the S25 series.

What about the price?

The launch price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge remains the main unknown at this stage. However, previous rumors suggested a retail price between 1200 and 1400 euros. If this range is confirmed, it would place the S25 Edge at a slightly higher level than the Galaxy S25+. The manufacturer's mid-range model was priced at 1169 euros for the 256 GB version when it was released, and 1289 euros for the 512 GB version.
