Nintendo Switch 2: Which games will be improved for the console?

As the Nintendo Switch 2 release approaches, gamers are still wondering whether they'll make the jump to the next generation. The few exclusive games announced are promising, but not enough in our opinion to make a purchase. To further convince its reluctant customers, Nintendo has unveiled its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games. This is a name the company is applying to a few titles already released. released on Nintendo Switch, which will benefit from an improved version on Switch 2.

What's changing?

If you've experienced the transition from the old generation to the new one on Xbox and PlayStation, you already know what a Switch 2 Edition is since it is nothing more and nothing less than a next-gen version of current games. Generally, the frame rate is increased, as well as the graphics resolution. Most Nintendo Switch games will be playable on the Switch 2 thanks to backward compatibility. However, only a few will be able to enjoy a Switch 2 Edition. Here is the full list of affected games:

Pricing and Availability

Some of these upgrades will be offered free of charge to those who already own the games in question, while others will be paid. However, they will include a little more new features than graphical improvements and will offer new content. The price of these next-gen updates is not yet known, but they should be around 10 euros in France. We should know more by the console's release on June 5.
