You'll soon be able to play as the most iconic adventurer of all time with the arrival of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle on PS5. A new version that will be identical in every way to the game on Xbox Series X|S and PC, but which will differentiate itself, for example, with support for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback from the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. The additional power of the PS5 Pro will also be used to push even further in terms of graphics and technology.
A new patch for Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle
Millions of additional players will be able to travel through Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle. Just before the launch on PS5, on April 17, 2025 or April 15, 2025 for owners of the Premium edition which includes early access, the game receives its fourth update. The previous one in February 2025 added DLSS 4, FSR 3.1 and its image generation, Intel XESS 1.4, local ray tracing lighting and even patch tracing (full ray tracing) on PC.
As part of this new April 2025 patch, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle welcomes another major update 4 with free content that will notably expand the range of actions of Doctor Jones. Indeed, after installation, you will be able to unlock two new Adventure Books from Sukhothaï, which offer new skills to this dear Indiana Jones.
- "Open Season": an opponent hit with the whip takes more damage during subsequent attacks
- "Sleight of Hand": Indy can pull an enemy's weapon towards him after disarming him with the whip
Update 4 of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle also fixes many bugs, particularly in the Vatican missions, at Marshall College, Giza, Shanghai, Sukhothai, and Iraq. On PC, the PS5 DualSense controller's adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are now supported. Expect other quality-of-life improvements like new tutorials, the ability to skip all cutscenes, and the ability to hear different lines during combat.
