Elden Ring Nightreign reveals his spectacular archer class

The release of the Elden Ring expansion Shadows of the Erdtree in June 2024 does not mark the end of the players' epic adventure in the Underdark. You will be able to get your dose of epic boss battles in Elden Ring Nightreign, scheduled for May 30 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

A very different adventure from that of Elden Ring since it can be experienced alone or with three players in online cooperation. A few cables away from the release of the game developed By FromSoftware, a brand new trailer introduces us to a new playable character.

Ironeye, the twirling archer from Elden Ring Nightreign

Here comes a new trailer for Elden Ring Nightreign. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware reveal a new class: the Ironeye. The character specializes in archery. He has visibly devastating abilities such as firing multiple arrows at once and delivering a large piercing arrow followed by a whirlwind capable of knocking down multiple enemies simultaneously.

Furthermore, the Ironeye seems able to perform a counter by firing an arrow just before an enemy attack. Enough to delight fans of Bloodborne. The character can even inflict a famous critical hit on the enemy's back with his bow. Apparently, the Ironeye also stands out for his movement speed. He can also shoot at the bow from the air.

The Ironeye joins the four classes already known thanks to the network testing phases of Elden Ring Nightreign. The Ranger is a balanced character, while the Guardian acts as a tank with defensive abilities and a shield capable of repelling enemy attacks. The Anchorite has powerful spells and the Duchess specializes in dodging. The cooperative game has eight Nightfarers in total, so there are still three to discover.

Remember that FromSoftware's new game takes you to an area similar to the Necrolimb in Elden Ring. The Japanese studio is stepping out of its comfort zone somewhat as it explores the roguelike realm. A run lasts a cycle of three days and nights during which you must defeat multiple enemies and adversaries before facing the Night Lord on the final night.

Your character is much more mobile than in Elden Ring since he can climb and jump on walls. If your HP drops to zero, your allies can revive you. As you can see, Elden Ring Nightreign is quite different from what FromSoftware usually offers. See you on May 30th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series to discover the title.
