Are you waiting for The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake? Prepare for a huge surprise

This is in any case what a leaker is suggesting, who has apparently proven to be relatively reliable for some time. He reportedly has information from a source close to Microsoft that The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake, of which we have seen absolutely nothing so far, could be released to everyone's surprise very soon. Although this information should naturally be taken with a grain of salt, it should be noted that this is not a well-known April Fool's joke, as it was published on X.com at the end of March.

A huge Shadow Drop imminent for The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake?

The rumors and leaks surrounding The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake are becoming more and more insistent. According to the generally very well-informed NateTheHate, the Remake, developed a priori by Virtuos Studios on Unreal Engine 5, should be announced in April, with a potential release in the form of a Shadow Drop. Recently, Detective Seeds confirmed this, taking "from a reliable source" that "Oblivion Remake is set to release on April 3rd.13 days later, on April 16th, it's the turn of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle on PS5, then 13 days later, on the 29th, Forza Horizon 5, also on PS5."

It's worth noting that Detective Seeds has already made correct predictions in the past, such as the release date of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle on PS5, or the fact that previews of DOOM The Dark Ages would drop at the end of March, with a publication on X.com to this effect on March 12th. Like other leakers, he has also been wrong on the occasion. That makes at least two leakers/insiders who agree on say that The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake could be released very soon.

However, it's hard to believe that the Remake of such an iconic Bethesda title will be released without a fanfare announcement or a proper presentation of its contributions. For that, we must, once again, be content with rumors. It would then be a question of a major graphical overhaul, but also of the gameplay, particularly in terms of blocking, endurance, stealth, and the interface. In doubt, we therefore monitor Microsoft's communication channels to see if The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake will make a surprising appearance this coming Thursday, April 3.
