Faced with Elon Musk's political escapades, some Tesla owners are keen to make their disagreement with the brand and its controversial CEO known to the world... even if it means deface their car.

As you may know, Tesla is going through a rather troubled time, especially since its CEO, Elon Musk, officially entered politics within the Trump administration. His far-right turn, illustrated among other things by this outstretched arm salute during the inauguration speech or his clear support for the German far-right party AfD, does not necessarily please a large part of the clientele.

Moreover, some Tesla owners are living hell due to a significant increase in acts of vandalism and physical/verbal aggression against them. We mentioned in our columns the case of this American, owner of a Cybertruck.

As a result, thousands of users have decided to publicly display their disagreement with the brand and its big boss. You've probably heard of the "I bought this car before Elon went crazy" stickers, for example. But some owners have gone even further and haven't hesitated to completely disfigure their vehicle!

On social media, dozens and dozens of users have shared photos of their “transformed” Tesla. Some have chosen to debadge their car, meaning remove the brand logo and put another one in its place. So don't be surprised if you see an Audi A5, Honda Civic or Mazda that looks strangely like a Model 3 or Model Y!

But that's not all. This Cybertruck owner has been particularly creative in distancing himself from Musk. He modified its tailgate to project images onto it. It reads: “Hello, I'm CyberTruck. Please don't tag “Musk, fuck off” on me. Please don't draw a big penis on me. This truck already makes me look stupid.”

The hilarious slideshow concludes with the infamous image of Musk smoking a marijuana joint. The user delivers the final blow with a final image: "a video signed Musk Production", the S being replaced by the acronym SS in reference to the secret police and Nazi paramilitary organization.

In any case, this phenomenon, but also the numerous attacks carried out against Tesla dealerships around the world, prove one thing: if it takes years to build a reputation, it only takes a few weeks to destroy it. Elon Musk has managed to do both.
