Accusations of wokeness by a fringe of gamers haven't dampened the launch of Split Fiction and Josef Fares' enthusiasm for the new game from his studio Hazelight. "Another feminist propaganda? What the hell is this? I don't give a damn about what's between the legs, it doesn't interest me at all. What matters are good characters," he replied in response to certain comments. A week after its release, the title had already sold more than 2 million copies on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Split Fiction is already making history
After It Takes Two, we could have doubts about the ability of Josef Fares and Hazelight Studios to offer a new, varied and refreshing experience. Hazelight Studios' game has thus achieved three world records in a very short period of time, which will perhaps further boost its popularity. Last week, Split Fiction received update 1.400 to eliminate bugs and improve the gaming experience. For those playing on PC with a very high frame rate, it is now possible to complete the puzzle in the Royal Palace level. The problem with the magnetized harpoon in "Down the Rabbit Hole" has also been resolved.
