Since 7 a.m. (French time), Pokémon TCG Pocket players and collectors can start opening the Radiant Revelry booster packs. Triumphant Light and Arceus are already retiring – trading is now possible – and making way for Shiny Pokémon, even if these are ultimately very underrepresented in the new expansion. Of the 71 base cards, no Pocket Monster is represented in its shiny variant. These are reserved for secret cards, with only 14 Shiny Pokémon out of 36 secret cards.
But that ultimately matters little, since the Radiant Revelry-themed booster packs contain some of the most beautiful cards since the launch of Pocket. Since the app doesn't reveal designs until they've been obtained, let us present to you the best artworks that promise to make trainers dream. From basic cards to secret cards, this expansion contains a multitude of magnificent designs, some of which are even borrowed from cards in the physical game.
The most beautiful basic cards

- Baudrive (re-release of the Steam Offensive expansion) / Artist: kodama
- Tygnon (re-release of the Shock Duo expansion) / Artist: Tomozaku Komiya
- Excelangue (reissue of the EX Fire Red & Leaf Green / Artist: Sumiyoshi Kizuki
The most beautiful secret cards
- Miascarade (1-star rarity)
- Mustebuoy (1 star rarity)

Also note that Pokémon TCG Pocket welcomes its first golden variant of an item card with the Pokéball. Between the inclusion of this secret card and the adaptation of the Mashynn card, this version of the card game is getting ever closer to the physical version from which it is inspired.
Special mention for Grodoudou
Among all these beauties, we must mention the only nightmarish card already ridiculed by players on social networks. The Grodoudou rare illustration by 5ban Graphics gives the impression of having been generated by an AI that was asked to create an overly photorealistic version of the Pokémon. It's by looking at this card that we realize that the artistic direction of the Detective Pikachu film wasn't so disturbing after all. Consider adding it to your decks: you might be able to win games by catching your opponents off guard with this walking jumpscare.
