According to information from the media Insider-Gaming, Nintendo would aim to launch the first games for the Switch 2 in three phases.

The first phase, starting in June, would allow the Japanese manufacturer to release its exclusive games. According to initial rumors, the Switch 2 would be expected between June 6th and the second half of the month.

The second phase, which would be planned for October/November, would be the release of the first games from third-party studios. Moreover, the first development kits could only be sent from June.

Finally, the third and final phase should arrive at from the end-of-year holidays, without further details on the exact period and whether these will be exclusive games or third-party games.

In any case, know that according to information from Insider-Gaming, several press and influencer events will be planned next week to unveil the console in preview, allowing you to play the first games.

For the moment, very few rumors and leaks around the first Switch 2 games. Apparently, a new 3D Mario game and Mario Kart 9 are planned for this year, as well than Metroid Prime 4 in terms of exclusives. Regarding third-party games, Red Dead Redemption II, Tekken 8, and Ubisoft games are reportedly on the agenda according to initial rumors.
