While Epic Games has been giving away games to its store users every Thursday for several years, the company is organizing a special operation for the coming weeks. Indeed, Epic Games is celebrating our feline friends with several free games with a common theme... cats. It starts this week with two free titles where you can play as little cats with great powers.
The first game is Cat Quest. Combining RPG, exploration, and an epic quest, the first installment of the famous franchise immerses you in the open world of Felingard. The terrible Drakoth has kidnapped your sister and it's up to you to save her from her clutches. To do this, you'll have to solve puzzles, plunder dungeons, and gather your strength to face her. This game will allow you to fall in love with the license which contains several installments.
The second game offered is Neko Ghost, Jump! This is a platform game that also includes a bit of action. Your cat has the ability to transform into a ghost for a few seconds, which allows you to take your enemies by surprise during combat. But in addition to knowing how to fight, you'll need to be agile in your exploration.
How to get them for free?
Both are worth around 11 euros outside the free period, so it's a pretty good deal to grab them now. You have until April 3 at 5 p.m. to add them to your library, before they are replaced by other offers. Once that's done, all you have to do is download and enjoy them via the Epic Games launcher, and this "for life." Next week, the company is already teasing us with the arrival of a cat-themed mystery game. There are far too many of them for us to venture into a guessing game, but we can only hope that it will be Cat Quest II.
For the moment, we don't know when this operation will end. It seems to be linked to the spring season, but no date has been formally announced by Epic Games. It's also unclear whether next week will feature one or more free games, so you'll have to log in early to find out.
