The TPMP show is back on internet boxes. However, many users find themselves with a show that has nothing to do with the time of broadcast. A bug that can be fixed with a simple manipulation. In most cases, at least.
C8 has not been available since this weekend. With the channel, the TPMP show hosted by Cyril Hanouna also seemed doomed to disappear. But it was decided otherwise by internet box operators who grant a slot to the show on channel 29 of Canal+ and SFR boxes, channel 31 on Freeboxes and channel 80 on Orange Liveboxes.
The problem is that subscribers who are keen on the show have not all managed to find their program on the channels in question. The largest contingent of complaints came from SFR customers, many of whom reported finding themselves with Marmiton TV cooking classes instead of their show.
How to watch Touche Pas à Mon Poste?
However, everything seemed good behind the scenes for the return of TPMP on SFR boxes. The operator had in fact been one of the first to sign with the company H2O which produces the show. But technical difficulties seem to have arisen in the meantime. Which still prevents some customers from accessing this show.
Informed of the problem, SFR explains that the “progressive production launch” of this broadcast explains a large part of the problem. The “service plan” which defines the channel numbering would take time to deploy across the operator's entire IPTV network. Same thing for some Free customers, with in both cases the same immediate solution: a restart of the decoder.
The operation must in fact force the internal update of the device. However, to do this, it is necessary to turn it off completely, unplug it, wait about twenty seconds, then plug it back in. Unfortunately, after this manipulation, some Internet users still deplore not having access to the program – still finding themselves with Marmiton TV cooking tutorials.
For the latter, a little patience will probably be necessary for the update to be effectively applied on their side. Finally, let us point out that TPMP is also broadcast on the internet, on the YouTube and Dailymotion platforms, while waiting for a return to normal.
