Apple gives a small gift to Strava subscribers on iOS

Strava premium subscribers in France are finally entitled to the same treats as their American counterparts. For a few hours now, the partnership signed between Apple and the favorite social network of athletes concerning the integration of Fitness+ has been accessible to them. Indeed, since the beginning of the year, Apple's activity and well-being service has benefited from preferential integration on Strava, which allows its users to have all of their data and training in a centralized space.

In addition to making Fitness+ workouts appear in the Strava activity feed, this partnership comes with a little extra gift for subscribers to the social network: three free months to try Apple Fitness+. From then on, they will be able to share their fitness sessions with their Strava subscribers, but also enjoy sessions hosted by Strava athletes.

Daily workouts of less than 1 hour

"Strava and Apple share a common commitment: to accompany and support our users in their sports journey. We are delighted to integrate Fitness+ into our offer and to offer these new features to the Strava community starting in February. "To help our subscribers achieve their fitness goals for 2025 and beyond," commented Zipporah Allen, Strava's Chief Commercial Officer.

Aside from the obvious synergies between the two platforms, Strava emphasizes a second point when announcing the extension of this partnership in France. According to the sports social network, which relies on figures from its annual report "Year in Sport", 84% of the platform's users prefer daily workouts of less than an hour... which is the activity format that Fitness+ is full of (6,500 training and meditation sessions across twelve different disciplines).

The partnership between Strava and Apple is available today to subscribers of the sports platform on iOS, including those who are in their trial period.
